Rodrigo Rodriquez, 1937, is married to Adele Cassina and they have fours sons.
He graduated in Law at the University of Rome. He served as general manager of Cassina Spa from 1973 to 1981, and later as vice president and chief executive officer, from 1982 to 1991.
He is currently sole administrator of Material Connexion Italia and president of Forza Projects Ltd of London, a company operating in the design furniture contracting business. He is a member of various boards of directors for design firms and institutions (Antares Illuminacion of Flos Group, Triennale Design Museum, Design Museum Foundation, Adi Foundation of the Compasso d’oro Award), and a member of the jury for the quality mark ‘Design for All’.
Furthermore, he holds various institutional posts in business associations: he is a Member of the Board of Trustees of the National Confindustria and is Vice President of A.I.P. (Italian Association of Industrial Policies).
Formerly president of Federlegno-Arredo from 1998 to 2002 and President of the Union Européenne de l'Ameublement from 1986 to 1991.
Today he is the Managing Director of Schola Italica, the company that promotes the educational sector of the Italics Project.
